The Museum of Islamic Dinar in Makkah is the first museum in the city dedicated to the rich history of Islamic coins. Founded by Muhammad bin Omar Hussein Natto, it houses more than 4,000 coins, including dinars and dirhams from various Islamic eras.
The museum consists of four halls: the Currency Hall, the Manuscripts and Weapons Hall, the Historical Artifacts Hall, and the Folk Heritage Hall.
It is located in the Al-Hijrah District, facing Mount Thawr, on the ring road connecting Makkah with Taif and Jeddah.
