Kan Ceramic Studio Experience

Overview

An artistic journey inspired by the spirit of Hijaz, where visitors enjoy a warm ceramic experience blending creativity, culture, and traditional hospitality in an atmosphere inspired by historic Makkah.

The experience begins with a guided studio visit and an introduction to pottery, followed by participation in one of the workshops led by a professional bilingual instructor (Arabic / English).

All workshops include full tools and Makkah clay, making the experience enjoyable and beginner-friendly.

Guests will also enjoy a special Hijazi hospitality experience including:

• Evaporated Zamzam water served in cups made from Makkah soil
• Arabic coffee and dates
• A light aromatic atmosphere with bakhoor and oud

Wheel Shaping Workshop

A fun and engaging experience where visitors learn to shape their own cup or mug on the pottery wheel. Guided by a professional instructor, participants will discover the basics of centering and wheel throwing in a simple and enjoyable way suitable for all skill levels.

Manual Shaping Workshop

A calm and creative experience focused on shaping a cup or mug using hand-building and pressing techniques. This workshop allows participants to freely express their creativity while enjoying a direct connection with the clay and handmade details.

Pottery Painting Workshop Acrylic Colors

An enjoyable artistic experience where guests paint ceramic pieces using acrylic colors inspired by Hijazi motifs and heritage elements in a fun and creative atmosphere.
